These nursing comments are my opinion, only!

I am a big believer in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

California has not passed the NLC!

It is my opinion that if your state is part of the NLC it really does benefit stakeholders by increasing access to available Registered Nurses, by allowing nurses to practice seamlessly in a number of states, without having to go through the process of obtaining licensure in each and every state that is part of the NLC. 

A number of current remote RN job openings state must be a resident of an NLC state. 

California has one of the largest RN populations in the country, so this aspect of non-NLC status, can have an impact.
